31.10.2023 – Preparing for storm Ciarán

Our research aircraft MRF-007 just departed from the airport of La Rochelle (LFBH) to fly to the airport of Brest (LFRB) in preparing for the arrival of storm „Ciarán. We are planning to make several flights for measurements of the wind speeds and other weather data. Also we will observe the effect of the very strong storm on the sea with its waves.
