Meteorological Research Fleet (M.R.F.)
The Microsoft Flight Simulator offers a wide range of things to experience and to explore. One of these things is the available realtime weather, which makes another level of exploring the world while being influenced by the weather at any place and time. While I am an amateur meteorologist since more than 15 years, I am very happy to explore realtime weather with MSFS 2020 at any place of the world.
Therefore just for fun, I created the virtual Meteorological Research Fleet (M.R.F.) while playing MSFS. The M.R.F. simply is a fleet of aircrafts and also vessels, to explore the weather in MSFS for collecting data and experiencing the weather at MSFS. It is planned to deploy aircrafts all around the world, so that it’s possible to have access to specific weather constellations at any place. It’s planned to observe weather situations about heavy weather with storm, thunderstorms but also rainfall / snowfall events, extreme temperatures, specific clouds, rainbows and also weather effects on the of seas. To find interesting places for observations, official weather charts are being used to check weather parameters.
